I don't pretend to have all the answers. Instead, I’m here to help you tap into your own innate wisdom and safely discover what you've been longing for. Together, we will clear the noise so you can hear your own truth.

my story

Life threw me nearly more than I could handle and in rapid succession. My parents’ broke up. My mom committed suicide. I was diagnosed with cancer. My dad had a massive stroke. I was running my own business and it was all too much to bear.

I got help from an incredible therapist whose unconditional warmth and care enabled me to move forward instead of getting caught in a downward spiral.

As the fog of pain and grief lifted, I experienced a deep gratitude and naturally wanted to support people in the way my therapist supported me.

Except I doubted myself. This doubt kept me in a career as a massage therapist and yoga teacher for many years. It was fulfilling, but the hunger for more nagged at me.

I was afraid to go back to school, to write papers, or worse yet…to fail. Yet, I talked about my longing to help people in this deeper capacity all the time.

With a gentle nudge from a dear friend, I applied to graduate school and finally took the first steps towards becoming a therapist.

My journey has taught me that tragedy, trauma, and disappointment changes us, stays in our hearts, and molds us for years to come. My post-traumatic growth shaped me into who I am today and continues to inform who I hope to become.

As Leonard Cohen sings, “there is a crack in everything; that’s how the light gets in.”

My path to this work began in 2017 after earning my Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), my practice is rooted in the powerful intersection of cutting-edge neuroscience and somatic, relational healing.

As you can see below, I’ve pursued extensive training in several modalities, including interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), EMDR, Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT), Non-Violent Communication, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) and Integrative Restoration (mindfulness). My couples therapy training includes extensive work with Terry Real and Relational Life Therapy, along with the STAIR model for couples.
